Kathy Rehill caught the real estate bug shortly after she and her husband completely renovated the starter home they bought in Cherrydale in 1997. 20 years later, they are wrapping up renovations on an expanded rambler in Donaldson Run, an Arlington neighborhood where she loves to walk her dog Ovie on the wooded trails. Originally from Pound Ridge, New York, Kathy graduated from University of Notre Dame, has a master’s degree from University of Michigan and has lived in Washington, DC and Arlington most of her adult life. She holds real estate licenses in Virginia and Washington, DC. and is one of ReMax Distinctive’s top producers. Since 2014, Kathy has received recognition as a Northern Virginia Association of Realtor’s Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club Top Producer. Prior to starting her real estate career in 2011, Kathy spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Senegal and had a 20 year career helping environmental nonprofits advocate for clean water and clean air, write grants and win successful bids for competitive contracts. These skills transferred well into her real estate career as she is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), has an eagle eye for spotting anything amiss in contracts and uses her research skills to crunch market statistics, scan listings and find the perfect home for clients. Kathy has played an active role working to improve area parks, schools and local government, making her knowledgeable about all things Arlington. She loves showing houses and introducing people to the area she knows and loves. When she can sneak in some down time, Kathy enjoys cheering for the Washington Capitals with her hockey crazy family.
