For good reason, Fairfax is the most populated jurisdiction in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The County hosts several wonderful bedrooms communities where you can find homes of great value, that are have more square footage and with more spacious lots than the close–in communities of DC. It is easy to get around Fairfax and into Washington, DC via I-66, I-395, Dulles toll Road, The Virginia Railway Express (VRE), the Capital Beltway “Hotlanes”, and the soon-to-be Washington Metro Silver Line. Home to Seven Corners, Tyson’s Corner, the Mosaic District and Reston Town Center there are phenomenal choices when it comes to shopping and dining. Fairfax also hosts hundreds of county parks and several of its schools top the lists of metro and national school rankings. Fairfax is the home to George Mason University and also has several historic sites.
