Kathy Rehill caught the real estate bug shortly after she and her husband completely renovated their starter home in Cherrydale. She found she had a knack for seeing the potential and renovating a home. Originally from Pound Ridge, New York, Kathy graduated from University of Notre Dame and holds a masters degree from University of Michigan.
In between, Kathy spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Senegal. A longtime tree hugger, she has spent over 20 years helping environmental nonprofits advocate for clean water and clean air, write grants and win successful bids for competitive contracts. These skills transferred well into her real estate career as she is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) has an eagle eye for spotting anything amiss in contracts and uses her research skills to crunch market statistics, scan listings and find the perfect home for clients.
Kathy and her family live in the Donaldson Run neighborhood of Arlington, where she loves to walk their dog, in the wooded trails. She has played an active role in the community working to improve area parks and schools, making her an expert on Arlington’s various schools and neighborhoods. When she can sneak in some down time, Kathy enjoys cheering for the Washington Capitals with her husband, two children and dog Ovie.
